The Anambra State Police Command, in collaboration with its Kaduna State counterpart, has arrested a suspected kidnapper, John Chinagorom, who has been on the Command’s wanted list in connection with a case reported on April 15, 2025.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, credible intelligence received by operatives of the Ozubulu Police Division on August 1 revealed the suspect’s presence at PZ Park Road, Zaria, Kaduna State. Acting promptly, a team of detectives was deployed and, with the assistance of Kaduna State Police officers, successfully apprehended the suspect at his hideout.
Chinagorom is currently in custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.
The Command assured residents that the general security situation in Anambra remains calm, with joint patrols and crime prevention operations continuing across the state.
