Access has emerged as Nigeria’s largest employer of Chartered Financial Analyst candidates, with 82 professionals pursuing the globally recognised qualification, according to a ranking by CFA Society Nigeria.
The ranking, published in the Where Nigeria’s Finance Professionals Work series, places Access more than twice ahead of the next ranked institution and makes the financial services group the leading employer of CFA candidates in Nigeria.
Access also ranked second among employers of CFA charterholders, underscoring its growing capacity to attract experienced investment professionals while developing a strong pipeline of future leaders in finance.
The recognition highlights the increasing importance of professional development as financial institutions respond to more complex markets, evolving customer expectations and the need for stronger standards in investment management, governance and risk management.
The CFA Charter is regarded as one of the most rigorous qualifications in investment management, covering areas including ethics, financial analysis, portfolio management and professional standards. CFA Society Nigeria said its rankings were compiled from its Salesforce Membership Database as of June 2026.
For Access, the achievement reflects its broader investment in learning, professional certification and leadership development across its businesses. The Group operates banking, pensions, payments, insurance brokerage and consumer lending businesses across 25 countries in Africa, Europe and Asia.
The Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Innocent C. Ike, said the recognition reflected a deliberate culture of continuous learning, professional excellence, integrity and discipline.
“We are proud that so many of our people are pursuing one of the most demanding professional qualifications in global finance, and that they are choosing to do it here, at Access,” Ike said.
He added that the ranking reinforced the Group’s commitment to building professionals and institutions capable of creating lasting value, noting that the pursuit of globally recognised standards remained central to its growth strategy.
CFA Society Nigeria, a member of the global CFA Institute network, said the rankings highlighted organisations investing in professionals equipped with rigour, integrity and global best practices. For Access, the recognition further strengthens its ambition to become one of Africa’s most respected financial services groups while contributing to higher professional standards across Nigeria’s financial sector.
