Union Bank Awards ₦15 Million To Customers At Save & Win Palli Promo Season 4 Grand Finale

Union Bank of Nigeria has wrapped up the fourth edition of its flagship Save and Win Palli Promo with a grand finale that saw three lucky customers walk away with ₦5 million each. The event, held at the bank’s headquarters, The Stallion Plaza in Marina, Lagos, marked the culmination of a nationwide savings campaign that has, over the years, rewarded more than 5,000 customers and disbursed over ₦330 million in cash and prizes.

The three grand prize winners—Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Isah (Zaria Branch, North), Atilabor Seikemefa Friday (Sapele Branch, South-South), and Oluranti Ogunluyi (Ilaro Branch, South-West)—emerged through an electronic draw process monitored by relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring fairness and transparency.

The event was attended by winners, customers, and members of Union Bank’s executive leadership, led by Managing Director/CEO Yetunde Oni.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vivian Imoh-Ita, Head of Retail and SME Business, highlighted the positive impact of the initiative.

“Over the past four years, the Save and Win Palli Promo has served as a meaningful platform to provide financial support and reward the commitment of our customers. We remain dedicated to empowering them to reach their financial aspirations.”

Also speaking, Olufunmilola Aluko, Chief Brand and Marketing Officer, emphasized the role of the promo in encouraging a culture of savings.

“This campaign has not only supported our customers in these challenging times but has also driven financial discipline. At Union Bank, we are proud of the ripple effects this initiative continues to generate.”

Season 4 of the promo, which ran from December 2024 to May 2025, rewarded over 3,000 customers with various prizes, including cash, motorcycles, tricycles, and fuel vouchers. The total value of rewards given out during this season exceeded ₦131 million.

To participate, customers were required to maintain a minimum balance of ₦10,000 and perform at least five transactions monthly. Monthly draws produced ₦100,000 winners, while quarterly draws featured high-value prizes like motorcycles and tricycles.

Union Bank reaffirmed its commitment to financial inclusion and customer empowerment, pledging to continue supporting Nigerians with innovative, impactful initiatives aimed at building sustainable wealth.
