Lagos, Nigeria – The UBA Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of United Bank for Africa Plc, has brought hope and relief to vulnerable groups in Lagos through a charity outreach program aimed at alleviating hardship among the elderly, children, and other less privileged members of society.

The initiative saw the Foundation’s team visit So-Said Charity Homes Community and SOS Children’s Village, where they distributed essential food items, including bags of rice, beans, and other necessities, to beneficiaries. The gesture, according to UBA’s Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, reflects the Foundation’s commitment to touching lives and giving back to communities across Africa.

“At UBA Foundation, we believe in supporting the most vulnerable members of our society. This outreach is a testament to our corporate social responsibility and our dedication to sustainable development,” Ladipo said.

Similarly, Programme Director of SOS Children’s Village, Ayodeji Adelopo, praised the Foundation’s consistent support for orphaned and vulnerable children and called for more collaborations in the future.
