The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced that it has not yet commenced the recruitment process for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force for the year 2025. The Commission firmly disassociates itself from a circulating online advertisement claiming that the recruitment exercise has begun, describing it as false, misleading, and intended to misinform the public.
In a statement signed by the Head of Press and Public Relations, Mr. Ikechukwu Ani, the Commission reiterated its earlier appeals to interested Nigerian youths to remain patient and await the official commencement of the recruitment process, which will be properly announced through verified channels and bear the authentic identity of the Commission.
“The current online advertorial did not originate from the Commission and does not reflect the content, tone, or character of any official communication from us,” the statement read.
The Commission once again warns those behind these fraudulent publications to desist from such deceptive acts and allow the PSC to conduct the recruitment exercise without undue interference or manipulation.
Prospective applicants are advised to disregard unofficial information and await a formal announcement, as the Commission is finalising arrangements to launch a recruitment exercise that will be credible, transparent, and fair to all eligible Nigerians.
