Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has come out in defence of colleague Toyin Abraham following the controversy surrounding an alleged leaked audio involving the actress and a fan.
The recording, which surfaced online on October 14, 2026, reportedly captures an 11-minute conversation between Toyin and a TikTok fan identified as Bisgold.
The alleged audio has sparked reactions on social media, particularly over comments made by the fan about fellow Nollywood actress Funke Akindele.
In the recording, the fan reportedly made insulting remarks about Akindele while Toyin was heard laughing during parts of the conversation. The development has since reignited discussions about the longstanding tension between the two actresses.
Foluke Daramola speaks for Toyin
Amid the backlash, Foluke Daramola took to social media to defend Toyin, describing her as someone with a good heart and questioning whether she would say something behind someone’s back that she would not say to their face.
Daramola also praised Toyin’s relationship with younger people and shared a personal anecdote about her daughter to highlight the actress’ character.
She wrote:
