A wave of intense spiritual awakening has swept through Ogombo, Lekki, Ajah and neighbouring communities as Grace Nation Church International commenced its highly anticipated Ogombo Apostolic Visitation conference earlier this week.
The five-day revival, which began on Wednesday, has drawn thousands of worshippers who have continued to share testimonies of divine intervention, healing, and breakthrough experiences. Tagged “5 Days of Glory,” the event has rapidly evolved into one of the most talked-about Christian gatherings in the axis, with attendance growing significantly each day.
Hosted at the expansive Fourth Main Event Centre, 85 Oko Eleme Ogombo Road, Lekki-Ajah, the conference is scheduled to climax with a grand thanksgiving service on Sunday, November 16. Organisers say the closing sessions promise even deeper Holy Spirit encounters for participants.
Beyond the intense prayer and prophetic sessions, the revival has also featured electrifying ministrations from leading gospel artistes such as Eben, Bidemi Olaoba, Dare Justified, and Peterson Okopi, whose performances have stirred the atmosphere with powerful worship and praise.
Presiding over the event is the founder and senior pastor of Grace Nation Church International, Dr. Chris Okafor, whose prophetic ministrations have been a major highlight. Known for unveiling long-standing spiritual battles and delivering targeted prophetic messages, Okafor said the conference has so far surpassed expectations.
“I thank God that He has helped us achieve everything we set out to do from day one,” he said while assessing the first three days of the programme.
“The Holy Spirit has lifted burdens, broken yokes, set captives free from demonic oppression, healed the sick and released diverse breakthroughs. God still has great things in store for those attending on Saturday and Sunday.”
He added that the remaining sessions would address challenges affecting marriages, careers, businesses, academics and finances, while offering salvation to those yet to embrace Christ.
To ensure seamless participation, the church has deployed BRT buses to transport attendees from key locations across Lagos to the Ogombo venue every day of the event.
