The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed the arrest and arraignment of one Mr. Samuel Ojeogwu and three others over allegations of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, theft, and cyber-bullying.
According to a statement issued by SP Josephine Adeh, Anipr, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the FCT Command, the case originated from a petition received by the FCT Metro Area Command on October 28, 2025, detailing the alleged offences against the suspect and his accomplices.
Despite multiple invitations extended to Mr. Ojeogwu for questioning, the suspect reportedly failed to honour the police summons. Consequently, operatives of the FCT Command, acting on a duly issued arrest warrant from a competent court, apprehended him in Lagos and transferred him to Abuja for further investigation.
Upon the conclusion of investigations, the police on November 6, 2025, charged Mr. Ojeogwu to court for offences bordering on criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, and theft. He has since been remanded in custody pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions.
SP Adeh reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to upholding the principles of professional policing, due process, and the rule of law, assuring residents of the FCT that the Police will continue to pursue justice through lawful and transparent means.
