The Founder of the Silent Heroes Awards Initiative (SHA), Mr. Odita Sunday, has commended the Federal Government for appointing veteran broadcaster Stella Din-Jacob as the Executive Director, News, at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
In a statement issued in Abuja, Mr. Sunday described Din-Jacob as a consummate media professional whose appointment reflects her decades-long commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation in journalism.
“Stella Din-Jacob has paid her dues in the media sector. Her passion, resilience, and track record make this appointment a recognition of merit and capacity,” he said. “We are confident she will bring valuable experience to the task of repositioning NTA’s news division.”
The Silent Heroes Awards Initiative, an organization that honors individuals making quiet but impactful contributions to national development highlighted Din-Jacob as embodying the core values of silent heroism, dedication, and service.
Mr. Sunday also congratulated the NTA management and encouraged Din-Jacob to continue serving as a role model, especially for young women aspiring to leadership roles in the media.
