Governor Soludo Meets Anambra Diaspora In U.S., Presents Scorecard, Vision For The Future

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, will today, Sunday, July 6, 2025, engage with members of the Anambra Diaspora community in the United States and North America during a town hall meeting scheduled for 3:00 p.m. EST in Maryland.

The meeting, far from a political campaign rally, is a continuation of the governor’s consistent drive for accountability and inclusive governance — a hallmark of his administration over the past three years.

At a time when political opponents are focused on electioneering and campaign promises, Governor Soludo is taking a different path — one that prioritizes open dialogue with citizens and direct reporting of government performance. His decision to interact with the Diaspora at this critical time underscores his leadership philosophy of transparency and people-focused governance.

This U.S. engagement follows similar town hall meetings held earlier this year in Lagos, Abuja, and the United Kingdom/Europe, where the governor presented a comprehensive report of his administration’s achievements, addressed public concerns, and shared his vision for the future of Anambra State.

Today’s meeting with Ndi Anambra in North America reflects the governor’s belief that governance is a continuous contract with the people, not a seasonal activity tied to elections. It is also a strategic effort to mobilize the expertise, investment, and goodwill of Anambra’s global citizens in advancing the state’s development.

While some political actors continue to rely on slogans and criticism, Governor Soludo has chosen to let his performance speak for him. With a scorecard anchored on security, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic transformation, he is using this engagement to reaffirm his commitment to service and shared progress.

As Governor Soludo meets with Ndi Anambra in Maryland, the message is clear: inclusive governance and measurable impact remain the cornerstones of his administration.
