The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, covering Lagos and Ogun States, AIG Adegoke M. Fayode, has commissioned the newly upgraded Zone 2 Police Clinic in Onikan, Lagos.
The commissioning ceremony, held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, was made possible through the support of Haven Homes Property. Speaking through its Managing Director, Ufuoma Ilesanmi, the company’s CEO, Sonuga Tayo, said the upgrade was aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of patients by providing quality healthcare services. The clinic, he noted, serves as a primary healthcare facility for emergencies that may arise in the course of duty, helping to prevent complications.
AIG Fayode commended Haven Homes Property for its generosity, describing it as a testament to public appreciation and willingness to support the Police in delivering effective service. He said the improved medical facility would serve as a major morale booster for personnel of the Zone 2 Command.

Items donated to the clinic include two split-unit air conditioners, four intensive care unit hospital beds, an iron weighing balance, an autoclave, a pulse oximeter, a sphygmomanometer, and an X-ray viewing screen, among others.
