UBA To Host Business Series Focused On E-commerce Advantages For MSMEs

United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc continues its commitment to bolster the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSMEs) across the continent by announcing the latest edition of its UBA Business Series.

The UBA Business Series stands as a cornerstone capacity-building initiative, offering seminars and workshops led by industry experts and professionals. This event aims to equip businesses, especially amidst challenging times, with insights and strategies for sustaining success.

Scheduled for Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at 12 p.m., the seminar titled ‘E-commerce: The Effects of Online Retail’ is tailored for Young Entrepreneurs, Key Distributors, and SMEs. Held at the Tony Elumelu Amphitheatre, UBA House, Marina, Lagos, the session will be accessible online via Zoom for remote participants (registration link to be provided).

Esteemed speakers including Founder/CEO RenDoll Fashion Brand, Nnamdi Ekeh; CEO of Konga, Kaylah Oniwo, Media Personality & Entrepreneur; and Founder of Money Africa, Tosin Olaseinde will share insights on wealth management strategies amidst today’s economic landscape and guide businesses toward expansion in challenging economic environments.

Babatunde Ajayi, Head of SME Banking at UBA, highlighted the profound impact of these speakers’ knowledge on guiding entrepreneurs through invaluable business tips, essential for navigating tough economic conditions and fostering business growth.

The bank’s partnership with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) secretariat underscores its commitment to offer up to $6 billion in financing over the next three years to eligible SMEs across the continent.
