Tinubu Sacks Security Chiefs, Appoints Rear Admiral Ogalla As CNS, DCG Adewale Acting CG, DIG Egbetokun As IGP

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has given his approval for the prompt retirement of all Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, and the Comptroller-General of Customs. Their replacements will also be appointed immediately.

The newly appointed Officers are:

The appointment of Adeniyi Bashir Adewale as the Acting Comptroller General of Customs has been officially approved by the President. It is important to mention that the appointed Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Comptroller General of Customs will carry out their responsibilities temporarily until their confirmation, as stated in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
