Sterling One Foundation, in collaboration with PwC and other key partners, is gearing up to host the fourth edition of the ESG Series on October 25, 2024, aimed at promoting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in Nigeria. As ESG continues to gain momentum globally, Nigerian businesses are increasingly integrating sustainable practices to manage risks, meet regulatory standards, and align with stakeholder expectations.
The event, supported by partners such as NGX, UNIDO ITPO Nigeria, Lagos Business School’s Sustainability Centre, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), NECA, and Sterling Bank, will feature thought leaders sharing insights on advancing sustainable development. The two-track event will focus on equipping participants with tools to implement effective ESG strategies that promote growth and resilience.
Key speakers include Olapeju Ibekwe, CEO of Sterling One Foundation, and Bolanle Adekoya, PwC West Africa’s ESG & Sustainability Leader, who will provide actionable strategies for navigating ESG challenges and driving corporate growth through sustainable practices. The event will also feature Nana Maidugu of NSIA and a goodwill message from Adewale Oyerinde, Director-General of NECA.
