Skål Abuja Promotes Wellness In Tourism, Partners With UandNature Therapy Clinic

Skål Abuja has reinforced its commitment to wellness tourism with the launch of a Health and Wellness Initiative themed “Bridging Wellness and Tourism.” The event, held on Thursday in Abuja, focused on integrating holistic health practices into the tourism sector to enhance members’ well-being and longevity.

Led by Skål Abuja President, Mrs. Susan Akporiaye, the initiative featured a session by Dr. Blessing Oladapo-Amao, MD/CEO of UandNature Therapy Clinic and a global diplomat. She educated members on alternative medicine, natural therapies, and the future of wellness in tourism. She also emphasized the benefits of holistic health in improving overall well-being and encouraged industry professionals to prioritize their health alongside their careers.

The event, hosted at UandNature Therapy Clinic in CITEC Estate, Mbora, Abuja, also marked the unveiling of a strategic partnership between Skål Abuja and UandNature Therapy Clinic, Wellness & Spa. This collaboration aims to integrate natural healing and wellness solutions into travel and tourism experiences, particularly in Abuja.

“As wellness becomes a key factor in travel decisions, Skål Abuja will continue to provide insightful engagements that shape the future of tourism and hospitality in Nigeria,” said Mrs. Akporiaye. “We intend to develop this into a niche tourism product, offering our members and clients opportunities to experience nature tourism within the country.”

She further highlighted that prioritizing health and well-being strengthens tourism experiences and aligns with Skål Abuja’s mission to promote sustainable tourism and transformative travel experiences.

Mrs. Akporiaye expressed gratitude to UandNature Therapy Clinic, Wellness & Spa, and all participants for their support in making the initiative a success.
