Ronchess Global Resources Plc has strongly refuted allegations of contract irregularities in Kaduna State, accusing the state government of employing intimidation tactics. In a press release issued on Friday, the company responded to claims made by Sahara Reporters on August 28th, which suggested that road construction contracts awarded to Ronchess had been mishandled.

The online publication alleged that Pastor Adeolu Adeboye, a board member of Ronchess, had been granted contracts by the Kaduna State Government, with some projects purportedly left incomplete. In its rebuttal, Ronchess clarified that the individual named in the report, Adebimpe Adeboye, is not related to Pastor Adeolu Adeboye, contrary to what was claimed in the article. The company suggested that the report may have been an attempt to target the Adeboyes, possibly due to Pastor Adeolu’s father, Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s prominent position as a church leader.

Ronchess emphasized its commitment to upholding its legal rights and stated that it would not tolerate any form of inhumane treatment or unlawful arrest over what it described as a civil dispute. The company also noted that the allegations are currently under review by its legal team for potential further action.

In its statement, Ronchess urged the public to be cautious of the information presented in the Sahara Reporters article, asserting that the claims made were misleading and unfounded. The company remains resolute in defending its reputation and standing against what it sees as unwarranted attacks.
