In a heartfelt update from the RACO Child and Rural Care Initiative, caring partners are urged to extend their support to the “Back 2 School Initiative” for the 2nd Term of the 2023/2024 academic session. The message conveys gratitude for the consistent sacrificial demonstration of love towards the well-being of the RACO orphanage children.
Out of the 78 secondary school students under the care of the initiative, 35 are currently unable to pay their school fees. The total educational sponsorship bill balance stands at One million, eight hundred and fifty thousand naira (#1,850,000.00), excluding those already on sponsorship and those slated for external examinations in 2024.
The plea is for compassionate individuals to join hands in ensuring the educational continuity of 173 orphans, vulnerable, and displaced poor children in rural communities. The initiative is dedicated to keeping the educational flame alive for these children, providing them with a chance for a brighter future.
Additionally, the update highlights that there are 13 students currently in different universities across the country, and their bill amounts to #1,750,000.00.
