The Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd), has praised the SERVICOM office for significantly easing his responsibilities since assuming his role. Speaking during a visit from the SERVICOM National Coordinator, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, DIG Argungu reaffirmed his dedication to fostering transparency and raising ethical standards within the Commission.

He acknowledged the essential role SERVICOM plays in ensuring accountability, stating, “We are committed to adhering to the demands of SERVICOM and ensuring that every kobo allocated to the Commission is accounted for.”

Mrs. Akajemeli, in her remarks, congratulated DIG Argungu on his appointment and commended the improvement in service delivery under his leadership. She also urged timely promotions for police officers to boost morale and called for continued support for the SERVICOM Committee within the Commission.

The meeting emphasized the PSC’s commitment to enhancing governance and service standards in alignment with SERVICOM’s objectives.
