Presidency Honours Nigeria Police Force As Most Improved Service Delivery Parastatal of 2024

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has been honored with the prestigious award for the Most Improved Service Delivery Parastatal (SERVICOM Unit) for the year 2024. The award was presented to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, on January 14, 2025, by Mrs. Nnena Akajemeli, the National Coordinator/CEO of SERVICOM, at the Presidency.

In her address, Mrs. Akajemeli highlighted the remarkable strides made by the NPF in enhancing service delivery. She noted the Force’s commitment to improving its customer service and fulfilling its service charter and workplan for the year 2024. The award was given on merit, recognizing the NPF’s efforts to create a customer service workplan that directly impacts the lives of Nigerians.

In response, IGP Egbetokun expressed his gratitude to SERVICOM for the recognition, stating that the award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of police officers across the country. He emphasized the Force’s continued commitment to improving service delivery, ensuring professionalism, and upholding the law with the utmost integrity.

The IGP also reiterated the NPF’s pledge to maintain positive momentum in fostering stronger relationships with the public, ultimately creating a safer and more secure environment for all Nigerians. He urged citizens to remain vigilant and support the Force’s efforts by reporting suspicious activities that could pose a threat to national security.
