Police Recruitment Medical Screening Nears Completion In Lagos, Nationwide


The Nigerian Police Force has announced that the ongoing medical screening exercise for successful Police Constable applicants is entering its final stages, with the exercise concluding on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

The screening, which has been underway for 13 days, is taking place at the Police College Ikeja, Lagos, and other designated centers across the country. Candidates who successfully passed the initial stages of the recruitment process from Zone 2 Command, encompassing Lagos and Ogun States, are urged to check their status and scheduled appointment details on the official recruitment portal: https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng

Applicants are required to attend the screening in clean white T-shirts and shorts, and must bring the following documents:

* National Identity Card/Slip
* Print Out of Medical Examination Slip
* All other necessary documents.

Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Adegoke M. Fayoade, mni, psc, fisn, of Zone 2 Command, has extended his best wishes to all prospective candidates. He also issued a strong warning against making any payments to individuals for the screening, emphasizing that the entire process is free of charge.

“We want to ensure a transparent and fair process for all applicants,” stated AIG Fayoade. “Candidates should rely solely on the official recruitment portal and follow the provided instructions.”

This announcement, issued by CSP. Ayuba Tunni Umma, anipr, Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the AIG, Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan Lagos, serves as a final call to eligible candidates to complete their medical screening before the deadline.
