Oyo State Commissioner of Police, CP Adebola Ayinde Hamzat, swiftly initiated a disciplinary procedure in response to the incident.

The police authority, expressing strong disapproval of the constabularies’ behavior, has mandated appropriate sanctions for both the implicated officers and their supervising Divisional Police Officer.

The reprehensible conduct has prompted the police authority to condemn the actions and reinforce its commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, has initiated a reorientation program for officers and men of the Force to address such issues and reposition the Nigeria Police Force.
