The Anambra State Police Command has intensified security in and around the premises of Solution FunCity, Awka, ahead of the mega festival and grand opening scheduled for June 28, 2025.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the police-led security force has been strategically deployed to ensure a safe and secure environment for all attendees at the event.

The deployment includes a combination of conventional police officers, personnel from the police mobile force, explosive ordnance experts, state intelligence and investigative operatives, as well as traffic control officers.

Ikenga noted that proactive security monitoring plays a vital role in preventing any untoward incidents during large public gatherings. The initiative reflects the commitment of the Anambra State Police Command to maintain public safety and order during major events.

Residents and visitors have been advised to cooperate with security personnel and adhere to all safety guidelines for a smooth and enjoyable experience at the grand opening.
