Police Detain Suspected Carjackers Invading Lagos State’s Iba-Igando-Egbeda Axis

Within the Igando axis of Lagos State, detectives from the Lagos State Police Command have detained one Victor Chibuike, ‘male,’ age 26, alias Azaman, Kingsley Ndubuisi, ‘male,’ age 33, alias kango, Augustine James, ‘male,’ age 29, alias Edo boy, and Lateef Babatunde, ‘male,’ age 33.

This information was sent to Hybrid News in a press release that was signed by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the police public relations officer for the Lagos State Command.

After receiving information on August 7, 2022, that a 2010 Lexus RX 350 SUV, a 2006 Toyota Camry saloon car, an iPhone, and other valuables had been taken at gunpoint, a quick investigation led to the arrest.

The group was captured, and 12 live cartridges as well as 3 locally made pistols and 1 locally made semi-automatic pistol were found.

According to investigations, the suspects were well known in Lagos State’s Iba-Igando-Egbeda axis for robbing their victims of their possessions and automobiles.

“There are ongoing efforts to apprehend the group’s criminal receiver of stolen goods and maybe retrieve additional stuff that the gang has previously stolen. Once the investigation is complete, the suspects will be arraigned” Hundeyin added.
