Police Arrest Officers, Accomplices In Alleged Extortion Case, Trials Underway

The Nigerian Police Force, in line with its unwavering commitment to eradicating corruption and extortion, provides an update on an alleged case of armed robbery, abduction, and extortion perpetrated against Mr. Omoh Oshoke, a resident of Abuja. The three officers involved, namely Inspectors Francis Ahuean, Semiu Agbaakin, and Osagie Efford, all affiliated with the FID-STS, have been apprehended, investigated, and are currently facing trial.

Alongside the erring officers, their accomplices have also been brought to justice. Elizabeth Amos Busayo, a Point of Sale (POS) operator, and Thomas Michael, who played a role as an informant for the implicated police officers, have been arrested and are under investigation.

The Police Force assures the public that justice will prevail in this case, underscoring the importance of officers adhering to the legal framework in their operations. The commitment to upholding the law and ensuring accountability within the force remains steadfast.
