Former presidential candidate and prominent advocate for national development, Peter Obi, kicked off the new year with a visit to Tungamadaki Primary Healthcare Center in Abuja, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in underserved communities.
On January 1, 2025, Obi revisited the center, where he had previously contributed to repairing the roof and upgrading essential facilities. The visit, he explained, was an opportunity to inspect the progress of the installations and engage with the community to identify further areas of need.
Speaking during the visit, Obi expressed satisfaction with the repairs carried out so far and assured the community of additional support to enhance the healthcare center’s capacity to deliver critical services. He emphasized that ensuring access to quality healthcare remains a priority in his developmental efforts.
“A new healthy Nigeria is within reach if we are committed,” Obi stated, underscoring the importance of collaboration and consistent action toward improving healthcare delivery across the country.
The Tungamadaki Primary Healthcare Center has benefitted significantly from Obi’s interventions, which aim to address critical gaps in infrastructure and ensure that vulnerable populations have access to essential medical services.
This visit followed his earlier New Year’s Day engagement at an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, reflecting his dedication to supporting marginalized communities and fostering hope among Nigerians.
Obi’s message of possibility and resilience, encapsulated in his signature phrase “POssible,” continues to inspire many as he advocates for tangible solutions to Nigeria’s pressing challenges.
