Pan-Atlantic University Alumni Association Unveils New Leadership To Spearhead Advancement

The Pan-Atlantic University Alumni Association (PAUAA) has taken a significant stride in its growth trajectory with the inauguration of a dynamic set of Executive members. The ceremony, held at the University’s main campus, marked a pivotal moment for one of Nigeria’s premier post-graduation associations.

At the helm of the newly appointed executives is the accomplished broadcaster Gbemileke Oscar Oyinsan, assuming the role of President. Oscar brings over two decades of versatile media experience in radio, TV, advertising, and production. Serving as Vice President is the esteemed Onyebuchi Odianjo, a Corporate Relations professional in the Energy sector. The position of Secretary will be expertly handled by Fumnanya Ochei, a prolific film producer in Nollywood.

The executive team further comprises accomplished individuals dedicated to various portfolios. Austen Osokpor, a strong media advocate and Head of Corporate Communications at Ecobank Nigeria, will lead the Communications & PR Committee. Efeturi Doghudje, a Communications Specialist with extensive experience, will head the Membership Committee, aiming to enhance active participation within PAUAA. Yusuf Oladejo, an experienced Multi-Cloud Support Engineer, will take the reins of the Alumni Chapters Committee, focusing on regional and affinity-based chapters.

Ginika Frank-Durugbor, Stella Uwaechue, Isioma Elumah, Barinedum “Barry” Agara, and Opeyemi Olaleye will spearhead the Partnerships and Events Committee, Finance and Fund Raising News Committee, Young Alumni Committee, Innovation Committee, and oversee Committee Heads, respectively.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Peter Bamkole, Chief Operating Officer of Pan-Atlantic University, emphasized the institution’s commitment to nurturing competent and committed professionals for societal impact. He commended PAUAA for its dedication to fostering a sense of community among alumni.

Gbemileke Oscar Oyinsan, the newly appointed President, highlighted the executives’ commitment to promoting the aims and objectives of the university. He emphasized the importance of strategic execution of events and programs to keep the alumni connected and engaged, further enhancing the prestigious reputation of Pan-Atlantic University.

Established in 2021, PAUAA has rapidly grown since its inception in 2020. With over 2,700 members, the association focuses on continuous education, networking, and sustaining a platform for its members. The new leadership aims to build on this foundation, aligning with the university’s mission of providing world-class education and fostering positive change in society.
