In a formal ceremony held today at the NIMASA Towers in Victoria Island, the outgoing Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh OFR, officially handed over the reins of the agency to Honorable Chudi Offodile, the Agency’s Executive Director of Finance and Administration. Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve in his capacity, Jamoh extended appreciation to the Federal Government and attributed his tenure as a privilege to contribute to Nigeria’s maritime sector. “I count myself a privileged Nigerian to have occupied this position,” Jamoh remarked, emphasizing his commitment to remaining connected to the agency despite stepping down from his role.
