The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Lagos State Council has expressed deep condolences to the family and friends of Pa Raji Suraju, a veteran journalist who passed away in the early hours of yesterday.
Pa Suraju was known for his dedication and extensive experience in the media profession. Throughout his career, he covered the Lagos State House of Assembly and served as a crime reporter.
As a committed member of the Lagos NUJ, Pa Suraju was a regular participant at the monthly congress meetings, where he consistently shared his wealth of experience and insights.
In addition to his journalism career, Pa Suraju was a versatile writer and author, contributing significantly to the field with his diverse talents.
“Pa Suraju will be greatly missed by the members of NUJ Lagos State Council. He was a hardworking and dedicated journalist who brought immense value to our community,” said Adeleye Ajayi, Chairman of the NUJ Lagos State Council.
The council extends its heartfelt sympathies to Pa Suraju’s family and friends, praying for God’s comfort during this difficult time.
“May God grant him eternal rest, and console the family and friends he left behind,” added Ajayi.
