The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, and the Chief of Air Staff of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Air Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar, convened in Abuja to discuss strategies for enhancing security within Nigeria’s maritime domain.

The high-level meeting focused on the importance of improving air surveillance and fostering better information sharing between NIMASA and the Air Force to tackle maritime threats effectively. Both leaders emphasized the critical need for collaboration in securing Nigeria’s waters against piracy, smuggling, and other illegal activities.
