Nigerian Air Force Trainer Aircraft Encounters Minor Mishal Near Kaduna Military Airfield

In a recent press release issued by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), it was revealed that a Super Mushshak trainer aircraft experienced a minor mishap earlier today, March 7, 2024, at approximately 2:35 pm local time. The incident occurred approximately 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna Military Airfield and involved two pilots who were returning from a routine training flight. Fortunately, both pilots emerged from the crash unharmed.

Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information for the Nigerian Air Force, confirmed the incident and stated that the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has directed a preliminary investigation to determine the immediate cause of the crash.

The NAF assured the public that measures are being taken to investigate the incident thoroughly and ensure the safety and security of its personnel and equipment. Further updates regarding the investigation will be provided as they become available.
