The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has announced plans to host its 2024 Annual Christmas Carol and Service of Songs on Friday, December 20, 2024. The event will take place at the NPF Resource Centre in Jabi, Abuja, and promises to be a spiritually uplifting occasion to usher in the festive season.

The programme aims to foster peace, unity, and community spirit among officers, their families, and the general public. It will feature hymns, prayers, thanksgiving, and other activities that reflect the essence of Christmas.

This year’s celebration will be graced by the presence of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who will serve as the Mother of the Day. Other distinguished guests expected at the event include the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; and the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, OFR.

A special highlight of the evening will be a ministration by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. His message of hope and faith is anticipated to inspire all attendees and enhance the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering.

The event will also feature performances by the Nigeria Police Choir, scripture readings, and goodwill messages. The Force extends an open invitation to its officers, their families, and the general public to participate in the celebration, which captures the spirit of love, peace, and goodwill that Christmas represents.

The NPF has assured that this year’s carol will be a memorable and unifying occasion for all attendees, reinforcing the values of faith and community during this festive period.
