Nigeria Immigration Service Addresses Visa-on-Arrival Application Challenges Amid System Upgrades

The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Kemi Nanna Nandap, has addressed concerns raised by visa applicants regarding recent challenges with the Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) application process. These difficulties stem from system upgrades on payment platforms by Nigerian financial institutions, leading to disruptions for some applicants.

In a public statement signed by its National Public Relations Officer DCI Kenneth Udo, the NIS assured that all its service platforms remain fully functional. The Comptroller General advised applicants to complete their VoA applications from the comfort of their homes and make payments online using their bank cards, as provided on the official portal. This online payment system is designed to simplify transactions for applicants.
