NCC’s Executive Vice Chairman Urges Staff To Prioritize Quality Of Experience For Consumers

Dr. Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has called on the staff of the regulatory agency to prioritize the quality of experience (QoE) for consumers. Speaking at the NCC Operational Staff Retreat with the theme “Organisational Renewal Through Operational Efficiency” in Abuja, Dr. Maida emphasized the constitutional roles of the NCC in shaping the Nigerian telecoms industry to global standards.

Engaging with members of the management and staff during the retreat, Dr. Maida highlighted the importance of service delivery to stakeholders in the telecoms industry. He stressed that efficient service delivery places the Commission in a strategic position to fulfill its constitutional roles effectively.

Addressing the staff, Dr. Maida emphasized, “Your role in the operations of the Commission is crucial in delivering on our Strategic Focus Areas of ensuring improved Quality of Experience (QoE) for consumers, growing the telecommunications industry, and improving its resilience while delivering excellent regulatory practices for our licensees.”

The NCC boss urged the staff to uphold the high standards expected in the global telecoms arena, ensuring that consumers receive an enhanced quality of experience. The retreat served as a platform for discussions on organizational renewal and operational efficiency, reinforcing the commitment of the NCC to meet the evolving needs of the telecoms industry.
