In a bid to bolster collaboration and foster advancements in Nigeria’s telecommunications infrastructure, Dr. Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (EVC/CEO) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), welcomed a delegation from Galaxy Backbone. Led by Prof. Ibrahim A. Adeyanju, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Backbone, the visit aimed to explore avenues for partnership and exchange ideas on enhancing the nation’s digital landscape.

The courtesy visit provided a platform for fruitful discussions on leveraging technology to enhance connectivity and digital services across Nigeria. Dr. Maida and Prof. Adeyanju delved into various initiatives geared towards deploying robust telecommunications infrastructure and broadband services nationwide. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to driving innovation and digital transformation, with a keen focus on expanding access to high-quality telecommunications services for all Nigerians.
