NAGAFF President Calls For Recommitment To Vision And Goals In 2025

The National President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, has urged maritime stakeholders to recommit to the association’s shared vision and goals as the industry enters the year 2025. In a New Year message personally signed by Ezisi and made available to Hybridnews, he emphasized the importance of collaboration in driving growth, innovation, and success in the maritime sector.

Reflecting on the past year, Ezisi acknowledged the challenges faced but expressed gratitude for the achievements made, particularly in improving the welfare of NAGAFF members. He attributed the successes to the collective efforts of the association and its strategic partners, stating, “The past year has been filled with challenges, but together, we have achieved great things and made significant strides in the area of our members’ welfare. I am proud of the progress we’ve made and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. Indeed, God has been faithful.”

Ezisi extended his appreciation to key stakeholders, including the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC), shipping lines, terminal operators, the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), and the media, for their unwavering support throughout 2024.

Looking ahead, the NAGAFF President expressed optimism for the new year, praying for “renewed energy, fresh perspectives, and boundless opportunities” for all stakeholders in the maritime industry.

The call for renewed commitment underscores NAGAFF’s dedication to fostering growth and innovation as it continues to navigate the evolving challenges and opportunities within Nigeria’s maritime sector.
