The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has announced a crucial opportunity for its members whose Customs licenses have been suspended, following a positive response from the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC) to the association’s earlier intervention.

In a statement signed by the Secretary-General of NAGAFF, Fwdr. Godfrey Emeka Nwosu, the association disclosed that the CGC has requested a comprehensive list of suspended licenses for possible reconsideration. Members affected by license suspensions have been urged to take immediate action by submitting their information to NAGAFF.

The requested details include the full name of the license holder or company, license number, date of suspension (if known), brief reason for suspension (if known), as well as contact information including phone number and email address.

Submissions are to be made either via NAGAFF’s official email or delivered physically to the association’s headquarters on or before May 12, 2025.

“This prompt response from the CGC presents a crucial opportunity for affected members to resolve their license issues,” the statement noted. “We urge all affected members to treat this matter with the urgency it deserves. Your prompt cooperation is essential to maximizing the benefits of our responsible partnership with the present Customs Management.”

NAGAFF assured members of its commitment to work diligently in compiling the list and forwarding it to the Nigeria Customs Service for further action.

For further inquiries or clarifications, members have been advised to contact the NAGAFF Secretariat directly.
