The Executive Director of the CLEEN Foundation, Mr. Gad Peter has urged the media to actively engage in promoting transparency, accountability, and adherence to the Administration of Criminal Justice (ACJ) Act.
While delivering a compelling speech at the media presentation on compliance with the ACJ regime in Nigeria, held at the Watercress Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, on March 19th, 2024 Peter underscored the importance of media reporting in disseminating information about the state of compliance with the ACJ Act. He urged journalists to use their platforms to hold stakeholders accountable and raise public awareness about critical issues related to criminal justice reform.
Throughout his speech, Peter emphasized the power of media influence in driving positive change within the criminal justice system. He called on journalists to actively engage with speakers, ask probing questions, and share insights to foster dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders.
