A 38-year old man, Albert Ekene, has landed in trouble after he allegedly tricked a 16-year old boy and engaged him in anal sex in Lagos.

Reports has it that the incident happened at Imude Road, Shibiri area of Ajangbadi, Lagos, where they reside.

According to Police sources, the suspect, Ekene, lured the victim into his apartment, penetrated him in the process and warned him not to tell anyone what happened.

However, the boy later exposed him and the matter was reported to the Police. He was arrested and to the Gender Section of the Police Command for interrogation.

At the Gender Section, Ekene reportedly confessed to the crime and he was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

The Court did not take his plea after the Prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde, ask the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O.  Osunsanmi, ordered his remand in prison custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice while the defendant will remain in custody.

The defendant, Ekene, risks imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court for the alleged offence. 

The matter was adjourned due to the Judicial strike and no new date has been fixed for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available.
