The outreach saw LASAA visiting Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo; Anglican Primary School, Igbogbo; Etunrenren Primary School; and Muslim Primary School, Ikorodu. At each location, essential school supplies—ranging from notebooks to writing materials—were distributed to pupils. A highlight of the donation was the distribution of eco-friendly school bags made from repurposed advertising banners, reinforcing the agency’s advocacy for environmental responsibility.

The CSR programme is in alignment with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus agenda, which emphasizes education, youth development, and social welfare across Lagos State. LASAA’s Managing Director, Prince Fatiu Akiolu, described the initiative as a dual-purpose intervention designed to promote both learning and environmental consciousness.

Accompanying the outreach were several LASAA top officials including Mr. Gbolahan Oloko, Director of Administration and Human Resource; Mr. Adegbolahan Dixon, Head of Operations and Innovation; Mrs. Atinuke da-Silva-Osadjere, Head of Corporate Communications and Strategy; and Mrs. Titilope Raheem, Head of Legal Department.

The initiative was executed in partnership with the Omo Daada Foundation, led by Honourable Omoniyi Dada, who also participated in the distributions. Adding nutritional support to the programme, Dufil Prima Foods contributed by providing nutritious lunches and extra school materials for the pupils.

Reaffirming LASAA’s dedication to long-term impact, Prince Akiolu pledged that the *Back to School Storm* would continue to expand across more schools in Lagos, with the goal of fostering academic excellence and shaping future leaders.

The outreach also received a boost from Honourable Gbolahan Ogunleye, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu I and Chairman of the House Committee on Sustainable Development Goals and Overseas Investment, who donated table tennis equipment to promote physical education and extracurricular engagement in the schools.

Chairman of Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA, Honourable Sesan Daini, lauded LASAA’s intervention and called for continued support for the academic and holistic development of children in the area.

Through initiatives like Back to School Storm, LASAA continues to position itself as a key stakeholder in the drive for inclusive education, youth empowerment, and sustainable development across Lagos State.
