LASAA Commissions New Offices To Enhance Service Delivery, Boost Revenue

LAGOS, NIGERIA – The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has inaugurated new porta cabin offices at strategic locations across the state, including the Badagry Local Government Secretariat, Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat, Lagos Television premises, and LASAA warehouse. The move is aimed at bringing the agency closer to clients and enhancing the regulation of Lagos’ outdoor advertising landscape to optimize revenue generation for the state.

Speaking at the launch, Prince Fatiu Akiolu, Managing Director/CEO of LASAA, emphasized the significance of the new offices as extensions of the agency’s branches. “The porta cabins are not just physical structures; they represent our commitment to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations,” he said.

With Lagos’ rapid urban growth and increasing business activity, Prince Akiolu highlighted the need for innovative solutions to manage outdoor advertising. “Strategically situating these offices aligns with the Lagos State Government’s vision for revenue optimization and supports Governor Babajide Sanwoolu’s mission for a greater Lagos,” he added.

Kunle Dabiri; and Deputy General Manager, Operations and Innovations, Mr Gbolahan Dixon during the Agency’s commissioning of new offices (porta cabins) for operational expansion in Lagos recently

The new offices are equipped with modern facilities, including air-conditioners, computers, tables, chairs, bathrooms, and kitchens, ensuring a conducive environment for staff and walk-in clients seeking to register business signs or make inquiries. “These facilities symbolize our dedication to modernization and improved service delivery,” Prince Akiolu stated.

Deputy General Manager of Operations and Innovations, Mr. Adegbolahan Dixon, explained that the porta cabin offices were established to complement existing offices, particularly in local governments where space constraints prevent the construction of permanent buildings. “We partnered with sister agencies to set up these offices, ensuring proximity to clients and making it easier for them to transact business without traveling to the head office,” Dixon said.

He further revealed that LASAA has already opened several such offices this year and plans to expand operations next year to serve more clients effectively.

Established under the Lagos State Structures for Signage and Advertisement Agency Law of 2006, LASAA regulates outdoor advertising and signage displays in Lagos. Through these new offices, the agency reinforces its commitment to shaping Lagos’ visual landscape with innovative and efficient solutions.
