Lagos Police Commissioner Olohundare Pays Courtesy Visit To AIG Fayoade

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood, paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2, Adegoke M. Fayoade, at the Zonal Command Headquarters in Onikan, Lagos, on March 21, 2025.

Accompanied by senior officers from the Lagos State Police Command, Moshood’s visit aimed at fostering collaboration and seeking professional guidance from the AIG. During their discussions, the Lagos police chief outlined his security strategies and solicited support in the ongoing fight against crime to ensure a safer Lagos.

AIG Fayoade commended the Commissioner and his team for their commitment to maintaining peace and security in the state. He acknowledged positive public feedback regarding the security situation since Moshood’s assumption of office, noting the improvements in safety and stability across Lagos.

Reaffirming the Zone’s commitment to crime reduction, the AIG pledged continued support and collaboration in policing Lagos and Ogun States. He also advised the Commissioner to ensure that officers under his command conduct themselves professionally, adhere to the rule of law, and uphold global best practices to maintain the credibility of the force.

The visit underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen policing strategies and enhance security coordination between the Lagos State Command and the Zone 2 Headquarters.
