The Assistant Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in charge of Zone K Headquarters, Awka ACG Felix Oke together with Commandants of Anambra and Enugu States today held a strategic meeting to brainstorm on how to boost the security of both States.
This was contained in a press statement signed by NSCDC Anambra State Command Public Relations Officer, DSC Okadigbo Edwin.
According to the ACG, the meeting will, amongst other things, avail him the opportunity to receive briefs from both Commandants on the Operational strategies put in place towards proffering lasting solution to security issues confronting both states .
He tasked both state commandants to adopt water tight strategies in curbing crimes and criminality within their areas of responsibilities in synergy with other sister agencies.
Mr. Oke challenged them to return back to Intelligence based gathering of credible information as a measure to enhance effective and efficient security of lives and properties within the Zone.
He however assured residents of both states of adequate protection of lives and property as the Corps will not rest on delivering it’s mandate.
Comdt. Chikere of Anambra State and Comdt. Obiorah of Enugu State in their dual remarks applauded ACG Felix Oke for doing his best in crime prevention within the Zone through his Operational support and assured the ACG of their unalloyed commitment to securing the Zone.
