“Tactical Team On Patrol, Ordered Lagos, Ogun CP To Be At Alert”
According to videos and information circulating online, thieves are robbing travelers on the Long Bridge (KARA BRIDGE) along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway of their belongings.
However, Mr. Adeleke Adeyinka Bode, the AIG Zone 2 has the truth to share. “Members of the public are hereby advised to ignore the false information and go about their lawful businesses without any fear of molestation/attack”
This information was sent to Hybrid News in a press release that was signed by SP Hauwa Idris Adamu, Zone 2 Command Headquarters Public Relations Officer.
The AIG recommended people to disregard the false information and carry on with their authorized activities without worrying about being harassed or attacked.
Additionally, the Assistant Inspector General of Police has directed the police commissioners in charge of Lagos and Ogun States to ensure sufficient security in their respective areas of responsibility and to keep the tactical and crack squad on high alert.
He has also urged everyone to work together with all security agencies to ensure the safety and security of our society.
On the other hand, he sent a quit notice to all criminal elements inside Zone 2 Command, ordering them to leave as soon as possible or face being apprehended by the law.
