The Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, Ph.D., has approved the appointment of dedicated Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) to various Commands and Formations within the Nigeria Police Force.
These appointments are seen as a significant step in strengthening communication, transparency, and community engagement in the respective areas of duty.
The newly appointed PPROs are as follows:
1. DSP Chukwukadibia O. Omojola – PPRO Railway Command
2. ASP Mansir Hassant – PPRO Kaduna State Command
3. ASP Nahum Daso Kenneth – PPRO Borno State Command
4. ASP Mayegun Aminat Oluwakemi – PPRO Force Criminal Investigations Annex, Lagos
According to an official statement from the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi noted that these officers have been carefully chosen based on their professional competence, effective communication skills, and their commitment to fostering positive relationships between the police force and the communities they serve.
“Their role is pivotal in building trust and cooperation between the Nigeria Police Force and the public.
“The Inspector General of Police extends his congratulations to the newly appointed PPROs and expresses confidence in their ability to carry out their responsibilities with dedication and excellence. Their postings are effective immediately” it noted.
