In line with his principle of accountability and uplifting peoples wellbeing, the Senator representing Anambra South and National Leader of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Thursday, reassured his constituents and Anambrarians in general that he will continue to champion legislative actions that will improve their wellbeing and develop the economy.

The Senator made the remarks during a live interactive radio programme on Authority 91.9FM, Nnewi.

According to him, human capital development is very essential in economic development and as a Senator, he will always work towards attracting federal government presence in various parts of Anambra South and the state in general.

He further maintained that with adequate government presence, quality policies and programmes that will better the wellbeing of the people will be channeled to the communities.

The YPP National Leader also used the opportunity to call on citizens to remain diligent and law abiding.

After addressing listeners, the Anambra South Senator through his Foundation (Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation), donated a brand new Motorcycle to a listener, Mr. Nathaniel Chukwuzo from Utuh Community of Nnewi South Local Government Area who was recently involved in an accident.

Senator Ubah who previously spoke with the benefiary on phone, said that he donated the motorcycle to boost the family’s mobility and enable them to take proper care of their father.

He also urged the beneficiary to remain grateful to God and informed him that his Foundation will continue to provide necessary assistance for him.

The Anambra South Senator further assured the beneficiary that he will continue to work towards legislative programmes that will ensure that citizens receive prompt and adequate medical care.

Responding from his sick bed, the beneficiary who couldn’t hide his joy thanked Senator Ubah for always standing by the masses. He further thanked him for championing quality legislations at the National Assembly and prayed God to continue to guide and protect him.

Other items distributed to randomly selected radio listeners include motorcycle, electric generators, deep freezers, LED display televisions, electric ovens, microwave ovens, and electric fans.
