Houston, Texas is gearing up for the much-anticipated Fidelity International Trade and Creative Connect (FITCC) event, known as FITCC Houston. The second edition of this international expo is scheduled to take place from October 24th to 25th, 2023, at the prestigious George R. Brown Convention Center, located at 1001 Avenida de las Americas.
Following the remarkable success of the inaugural edition held last November in London, where deals worth over $200 million were sealed, Fidelity Bank is primed for another edition of this globally recognized expo. This year’s event continues the tradition of promoting Nigeria’s non-oil exports and facilitating integration into global supply-chain networks.
Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, expressed the bank’s unwavering commitment to supporting export trade. She emphasized that Fidelity Bank has consistently demonstrated this commitment through various interventions and innovations in the space. These include initiatives like the Export Management Programme (EMP) in partnership with the Lagos Business School and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), as well as market access development initiatives like FITCC.
During the two-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to explore exhibitions featuring some of Nigeria’s most prominent businesses operating in industries such as commodities, agriculture, FINTECH, fashion, arts, and allied sectors. The expo will also host several panel discussions, providing a platform for stakeholders and leaders in the business, regulatory, and investment sectors of both the US and Nigerian economies to share insights on bilateral trade opportunities.
The FITCC Houston event will culminate in a gala dinner on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, featuring the presence of acclaimed Nigerian hip-hop artist Kcee and other entertainers. Registration for the event is still open at [FITCC’s official website](www.fitccusa.com).
As one of Nigeria’s leading banks, Fidelity Bank is a full-service commercial bank serving over 8 million customers through its 251 business offices in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, as well as digital banking channels.
