She acknowledged the importance of collaboration in creating a safer and more inclusive Nigeria.

Reflecting on her tenure as the Minister of State for Police Affairs, Hon. Sulaiman-Ibrahim highlighted key achievements, including the establishment of the National Criminal Data Fusion Center, a state-of-the-art facility for real-time integration and analysis of identity data to combat threats effectively. She also emphasized her commitment to advancing community policing, fostering deeper connections between communities and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) through town hall meetings and grassroots engagements. Strengthening partnerships with the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) proved instrumental in improving intelligence sharing and collaborative efforts.

Hon. Sulaiman-Ibrahim also spearheaded critical reforms, such as the National Policing Policy, aimed at enhancing the operational effectiveness of the NPF. Under her leadership, the NPF Gender Policy was introduced, achieving greater gender balance and the inclusion of a female officer in the force’s leadership team, marking a significant milestone in inclusivity.

Now serving as Minister of Women Affairs, her focus has shifted to the empowerment and protection of women and children, particularly addressing gender-based violence and enhancing access to economic opportunities. Through initiatives like the Nigeria for Women Project, efforts are being scaled to economically empower women, recognizing economic security as a cornerstone of overall safety and stability.

Under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Sulaiman-Ibrahim emphasized the ministry’s commitment to strengthening legal and institutional frameworks for child protection, gender equality, and inclusive development. She assured that transformative programs would deliver measurable results to ensure no Nigerian woman or child is left behind.

The Minister extended her appreciation to CRAN for the recognition and their role in shaping narratives around security and justice. She also lauded the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for their tireless service, expressing confidence in achieving lasting security and stability through collaboration, innovation, and political will.
