Group Identify With Nigeria Police Force On Campaign Against Cultism And Other Vices

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has identified with the Nigeria police force in it’s ongoing efforts and Nationwide campaign against cultism, substance and drug abuse, violence and other vices and pointing out that the campaign is apt and commendable considering the young minds involvement in cult and violent related issues in the society hence the need for this campaign by the police and involving all stakeholders.

This was disclosed by the Enugu state chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Chief Asogwa Mathew when he led his team of executives on courtesy visit to the Pocacov Resource Centre Enugu State recently.

He further appreciated the efforts of the Nigeria police and force Public Relations Department towards engaging with the public’s and constantly educating them through Pocacov initiatives which is a community driven program on the need to eschew cultism, substance and drug abuse, associated violence and other vices.

He further, enjoined all to join hands with the Nigeria police force in the on ongoing campaign against cultism and other vices to save Nigerian children and youths from it’s claws for a safe, peaceful and  secured community. He used the occassion to present copies of campaign stickers to be used by cars and buses written support the police campaign against cultism and other vices produced by the union as part of their efforts and support in the ongoing campaign and deepening of the message.

Responding, the National Coordinator Pocacov, CSP Ebere Amaraizu thanked the Chairman and his executives and the entire efforts of the national Union of road transport workers as well as their giant stride and maintained that Pocacov as a community driven program will stop at nothing in working with different stakeholders and galvanizing their support to ensure that the supply chains and conveyor belts of cultism and other vices are cut off thereby saving the Nigerian children and youths.
