In a bid to bolster efficiency and achieve greater performance in realizing the Federal Road Safety Corps’ (FRSC) strategic goals for 2024, the Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, has authorized the redeployment of key senior officers within the organization.
The redeployment involves two Deputy Corps Marshals (DCMs) and one Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) to various critical departments and offices aimed at enhancing efforts in creating a safer motoring environment across the country.
DCM Shehu Alkali Zaki fsi, formerly in charge of the Training Department, has been reassigned to oversee the affairs of the Department of Operations, while the former Corps Public Education Officer, DCM Bisi Kazeem fsi, anipr, mnim, will now serve as the DCM in charge of the Training Department at the National Headquarters in Abuja.
Additionally, ACM Jonas Agwu mni, the former head of Command Administration and Strategies (CAS), has been redeployed to assume the administration of the Corps Public Education Office, previously under the purview of DCM Bisi Kazeem.
This redeployment marks the first assignment for the outgoing Corps Public Education Officer since his recent appointment as Deputy Corps Marshal.
The Corps Marshal expressed confidence in the capabilities and experience of the redeployed senior officers, urging them to leverage their professional expertise for impactful leadership and effective service delivery.
The redeployment will take effect from January 15, 2024, coinciding with the conclusion of the ongoing Operation Zero Tolerance Special Patrol.
