Foundation Puts Smile On Faces Of Less Privileged In Lagos

A Non-Governmental Organisation, Dynasty Ladies Foundation (DLF) has put smiles on the faces of the less privileged at Agbelekale area in Lagos State.

It was gathered that the foundation chose the season to share love with the less privileged to give them a sense of belonging as everyone celebrates the Christmas and New Year season.

Speaking on what informed the gesture, the Chief Executive Officer DLF, Miss Opeyemi Emeka said the foundation was initially established to give back to the society.

The CEO while handing over food items to the less privileged added that sharing love with people around us would make the society and the world at large a better place.

“The foundation is poised to reach out to the less privileged in the society and put a smile on their faces by providing them foodstuffs and make them have a sense of belonging.

“They can see that people are celebrating the festive season and we know that they also want to do same. This is why we thought of putting smiles on their faces with the little we can.

“Sunday January 1 was however marked out as a perfect day to show love by giving out food items to the needy in the society.

“With these little gesture, I am sure they will always have it in mind that people care about them. I also hope other members of the society will key into these initiative to put smile on the faces of people around them,” she said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the less privileged, Mr Ademoyo Temitope Adeola, Manager of Marvel Event Centre, Agbelekale commended DLF for the gesture.

“I am happy to receive this on behalf of the less privileged. This will go a long way in giving them hope and a sense of belonging in the society.

“We encourage well meaning Nigerians to extend their generosity to these people. We all need ourselves and we should always help ourselves whenever we are capable of doing so.

“We appreciate Dynasty Ladies Foundation. I am saying thank you on behalf of the old and young ones. God will continue to bless your organization,” he said.

The less privileged home is situated at Onatayo Street, Vulcanizer Bus-Stop, Agbelekale, Abule-Egba, Lagos.

It is the first village in agbelekale and also the place where Agbelekale originated from. The first Baale’s house was also located in the same village.
